Thanks Avi for these audio links, just downloaded them all, I will do and I will listen to them.

I listened to all of these some months ago, and had a chance to revisit them recently. The second (“Movements and Denominationalism”) and fourth (“Why not Oysters?”) talks are the most enlightening and interesting, IMO. Those are the only two that I ultimately added to my “Jewish Learning” audio collection.

@Chris – You are Welcome! Oh and I agree about Deb’s community, seems like a solid group. That being said I still think its better here in LA. LOL!

I’ve corresponded a very little bit with Rabbi Creditor and, apparently, my girlfriend, who is from the Bay Area, has a lot of friends who grew up in the shul long before they had their own building. Debbie, I’ve written it before, but it bears repeating. You seem to have landed in a truly wonderful situation with respect to your minyan. I can only hope that I will be similarly fortunate.
