Mazal Tov, To Yair and His Family On The Arrival Of Their Latest Addition – A Baby Girl!

smallI just got news that the latest addition to Yair’s family has now arrived. For those of you who are new to the blog, Yair is a founding member and ongoing contributor here at JBC.org.

Anyhow, Judging by the photo they may already be grooming her to become the first female Breslover Rabbi. I bet they’ve already started singing her “Na Nach Nachma” lullabies! After all you do have to get them started young! LOL!

Below is a copy of the email he sent me just a few minutes ago and of course to the left, is a picture of the new baby girl!

Hi Avi, our daughter was born last night, she’s 8 pounds, 6 ounces, 20 1/2 inches long, and is healthy and strong. My wife is doing well, and we will be headed home tomorrow. We know her Hebrew name, when given, will be Zahava, but we haven’t decided on an English name yet :-S. Anyway, I’ll talk to you soon!

Please feel free to leave any congratulations in the comments section below.

  1. MAZEL TOV YAIR…how very exciting for you and your family!  She’s lovely.

  2. Mazal tov, Yair and family! Since it’s supposed to bad luck to say a child is beautiful, I’ll just say, I’ve seen worse.  May she grow in joy and good health to Torah, chuppah, and ma’asim tovim.

  3. How absolutely exciting :) A hearty mazel to you and your family!
Don’t forget to get some sleep!!

  4. Oh, welcome to the world, little one!

  5. Hi all, and thanks for your congratulations!  We got home this afternoon, and although we’re really wiped out, we’re very happy with how everything went with our daughter’s birth.  I am off work for the rest of the week, and probably partial days next week, so we’ll have some time to get used to one another.
    Thanks again!
    Yair

  6. Kol haKavod! May she be blessed with good health, long life, much love, and long nights of sleep!
