Vid: Cleaning Your Inner Chametz With Rabbi Simon Jacobson
At the half way mark into Pesach I am a little late posting this, but as they say better late than never! I stumbled on this great video over on the meaningfullife.com site while looking for some Omer Counting resources (BTW I will also be getting to a post on the Omer and yup it’s going to be late as well). Anyhow this Video which runs about 90 minutes is titled “Clean Up Your Act: How to prepare for Passover” and it deals with the subject of Passover from more of a psycho-spiritual angle than from a Halachick how-to point of view. In a nutshell I would describe Rabbi Jacobson’s talk as being about using this holiday and an opportunity to think about the states of our soul/mind and do a little inner chametz cleaning. Now Rabbi Simon Jacobson is a Chabad Rabbi (which might be scary to some of you) but this isn’t your typical Chabad fair at all and I guarantee that there is something here for pretty much everyone regardless of affiliation or level of observance.
It would have been better to post this before the seders actually took place but I still got a lot out of watching to this, even after the fact and I’m confidant you will to.
So check it out and feel free to let me know what you think.
