Just a quick post to point out the obvious - Updated!

Update: I forgot to mention another new feature we are rolling out this month so look for the green text below.

I suppose most of you have noticed by now that, as of January 1st we got a facelift, here on the JBC.org Blog, and I hope that you all like it! So far all of the feedback we have received about the new look has been positive.Having said that Please Note that although this layout is indeed permanent, we are still working out the bugs and so expect more (minor but frequent) changes throughout the rest of January

Anyhow, one of the reasons for the change is that we plan on stepping things up here at JewsByChoice.org in 2008, which means rolling out several new features.

Including the following:

  • A new monthly podcast beginning this February, which will explore a variety of issues related to halacha, mitzvot and Jewish living, as well as an assortment of other topics, that are sure to be of interest to progressive/observant Jews.
  • A new discussion forum (again beginning this February) where people can connect with one another, to share or find resources, ask questions or give answers. You know, a place where people can discuss issues related to halacha, observance or fitting in to the Jewish community as a JBC.
  • Also we are pleased to announce that (beginning a little later this month) the YouTube Rabbi aka Jonathan Ginsburg will begin taking monthly halachah/observance questions from us here at JBC.org and posting his answers to YouTube!
  • Finally on a related note, I and at least one other blog contributor are considering starting up a Vbloging section here at JBC.org. So stay tuned for more information on that as well!

We also have a few other surprises planned but we aren’t ready to spill the beans about them.

At least not just yet!, so stay tuned!

As always, you’re feedback and comments are welcome, so feel free to share!

Until next time be well!!
